Quietly oily on the nose, distinctly herbaceous with citrus orange & tangerine.
Less heavy and rich than the 55% bottling, with more of a highland-esque granity hardness, yet it is a classic Lowland nose, with subtle earthy notes.
Juicy and herby on the palate, with grass, yellow soft fruit, citrus and a minty freshness.
Nice length with hints of malt, barley and subtle ginger. Very much an aperitif malt.
