Nose: Clean, very peaty, salty, maritime, slightly farmy and on tobacco smoke.
Taste: Very salty, maritime, intense, peaty, oily (green olive), with some seaweeds, citric flavours and tobacco smoke. The finish is medium, peaty, salty, farmy, oily, and slightly tarry.
General Impression: A very nice, salty and oily Caol Ila.
